DESCRIPTIONThis course is an introduction to the algorithms that use numerical approximation (as opposed to symbolic manipulations) for the problems of mathematical analysis. The course will help students develop a basic understanding of numerical algorithms and the skills to implement algorithms to solve mathematical problems on the computer.
